The new Olympus Viewer is here. It seems that the RAW editing performances are slightly better though still under what commercial solutions offers. Editing features are numerous and cover far beyond (imo) the needs of many amateur photographers. In this area the program has not to blush beside many paying counterparts even if fine grain tunings are not available on some functions. Keep in mind that the program is free.
The firmware updater (for bodies, lenses, flash…) is now a separate application, no more need to start the whole software and browse through two or three menus. Fire up the updater, connect your gears and check for updates.
