The Polaroid filters available for the iPhone may look like funny toys but can also be useful tools to make the very average quality of the image produced by the iPhone camera look better or more realistic. More realistic because the results is very close from a print quality that is well know for many people. When used as a support to provide striking visual material on the everyday work of war photographer David Guttenfelder, this kind of application/filter has certainly reached its goal.
