When speaking about compact digital cameras the names coming immediately in mind are those of the usual giants. Fortunately there isstill other companies around. Not new actors coming on the market to take some share from the “trend” but old ones who are in the business since decades, like Rollei. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not paid or remunerated in any way. I just stumbled over those original compacts from the well known German manufacturer.
I particularly like the form factor and touchscreen from the Flexline 100 inTOUCH and the 10 meters waterproof, 1 meter shockproof and -5 Celsius “frostproof ” from the Rollei X-8 Sports. Too bad that this brand is not more represented on the shelves.
