Extremely high definition pictures are in trend since a few years. Here is the largest to date : Paris 26 GigaPixels
With a resolution of 354159×75570 pixels, details who are almost invisible when looking at the whole picture can be clearly seen when zooming in. Thanks to two Canon 5D Mark II which the full-frame sensor delivers a 21.1mp pictures. The 2346 photographs composing the picture have been stitched with Autopano Giga, a panorama specialized program.

No, it’s not a Hubble shot ! But our good old moon I have framed in September 2009. Really strange cloud colors and appearance . It’s not due to software color tweaking, they actually have been exactly like on the picture when seen with naked eye. What about a wallpaper version ?
